C-store customer donations help raise nearly $22,000.
Bosselman Enterprises, parent company of Pump & Pantry Convenience Stores, has made two large donations from retail site fundraisers this fall.
Pump & Pantry stores across Nebraska helped Nebraskaland Distributors raise funds for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital through customer donations during the month of October. The total donation to St. Jude’s was $21,992.68. A check will be presented to national St. Jude’s representatives in the Bosselman Enterprises lobby on Dec. 19 at 2 p.m.
Boss Shops across the U.S. celebrated “No Shave November” by growing beards and asking customers to ‘round up’ their total or make a donation to the American Cancer Society during the month of November. Both staff and customers donated to the cause, and the Bosselman family matched what was raised, bringing the total donation to $6,419.14.
“Our company is very pleased to demonstrate our commitment to giving back, by helping to raise money for these two deserving charities,” stated CEO Charlie Bosselman. “Cancer is a cause that is near and dear to our hearts, after losing my dad, Chuck Bosselman, to cancer several years ago. We have been participating in No Shave November for several years now. St. Jude’s is a charity we and our giving customers have supported every year for quite some time, and we are happy to continue that tradition through our relationship with Nebraskaland Distributors.”
“It is thanks to our many customers, business partners and friends throughout the years that we continue to do business into the fourth generation of the Bosselman family, and how better to demonstrate that growth than by giving back,” Bosselman said.
Bosselman Enterprises, comprised of multiple companies, is headquartered in Grand Island, Neb., and includes: 44 Pump & Pantry convenience stores; 44 Boss Shops; the Bosselman Travel Center; a Hampton Inn, three Pump & Pantry Motels, one Quality Inn & Suites, one Comfort Inn & Suites, and four Motel 6 franchises; restaurants including Max’s Thunder Road Grill, two Max’s Highway Diners, and Sam Bass’ Saloon & Steakhouse; quick-serve concepts including Subway, Little Caesars, Caribou Coffee, and Cinnabon; VisionComm Storage & Vending; and the Nebraska Danger Indoor Professional Football Team.
