Industry veteran served in a number of roles during his more than 20 years with ADD Systems.
Advanced Digital Data Inc. (ADD Systems), a supplier of software solutions to the energy distribution industry, has said farewell to long-term employee and industry veteran, Frank Chamberlin.
ADD Systems announced the retirement of Chamberlin on Sept. 15, 2017.
Chamberlin had been with ADD Systems for over 20 years, serving in a number of roles, and was always ready to pitch in where needed. Hired into Sales by Bruce. Bott in the 1990s, Chamberlin was named New England sales representative. Under Chamberlin’s watchful eye, ADD Systems prospered in the New England market, while Chamberlin served as a trusted advisor to many of his clients. Never one to beat around the bush, Chamberlin grew a reputation as a straight shooter who stood by his word.
Later in his career, Chamberlin took on the role of a sales training consultant with ADD, where he worked with newer sales people as part of ADD Systems’ continued growth plan. Chamberlin shaped the sales styles of a new generation of sales people who worked in territories all across the U.S.
Bruce Bott, president of ADD Systems, who worked with Chamberlin early on in his own sales career, said that Chamberlin’s contribution to the company’s success was significant. “I learned some great lessons from Frank over the years. His dedication and loyalty to the company and his customers were valuable foundations for me,” said Bott. “I am really happy for him and know he will enjoy his retirement. Frank’s got a lot of fishing to catch up on, and I know spending time with family is also high on his list.”
Chamberlin leaves ADD Systems in good hands with sales reps who continue his practice of being a trusted advisor to their customers and speaking from the heart.
