TA adds business and fuel services for professional drivers and motorists in the southern N.M.-area.
TravelCenters of America announced the acquisition and rebranding of the former Savoy Travel Center to the Petro Stopping Centers brand.
The new travel center is located in Deming, N.M. The opening of this new location raises the number of full-service centers in the TA and Petro Stopping Centers chain to 241.
The travel center will offer the following amenities: 150 truck parking spaces, 10 diesel lanes, 8,250 square foot store, sit-down restaurant, TA Truck Service repair facility, 9 showers, emergency roadside service available 24/7 and UltraONE Rewards Program kiosk.
Tom O’Brien, president and CEO of TravelCenters, said the company is glad to have the opportunity to create jobs and business in Deming, N.M.
“Petro Deming is about in the middle of a 170 mile gap on I-10 in New Mexico between our two next closest locations,” O’Brien said. “Professional drivers can find a real full-service truck stop on a lengthy stretch of Interstate where before, only limited choices existed.”
