Love’s adds 97 truck-parking spaces along Interstate 10.
Love’s Travel Stops is back in Gulfport, Miss., following a seven-year absence from the area. The new Love’s is located at Interstate 10 and County Farm Road, three miles west of the original Love’s on Interstate 10 and Canal Road.
The new location is larger and features all of the driver services and amenities that Love’s is known for.
“Returning to Gulfport has been of a focus of ours for many years, so it’s exciting for this facility full of amenities to open,” said Greg Love, co-CEO of Love’s. “Adding nearly 100 truck-parking spaces to the busy stretch of Interstate 10 running through Gulfport is significant. We look forward to providing the ‘Clean Places, Friendly Faces’ Love’s is known for to Customers in Gulfport again.”
Love’s previous location in Gulfport closed when the state of Mississippi acquired the land through eminent domain for a road-widening project. The opening of Gulfport marks Love’s 12th location in Mississippi and 29th along Interstate 10 that stretches from Florida to California.
The 10,000 square-foot facility is open 24/7 and features McDonald’s and Chester’s Chicken restaurants, gourmet coffee, fresh fruit, gift items and more. The location also has 97 truck-parking spaces, seven showers, RFID cardless fueling, CAT scales, a Love’s Truck Tire Care Center and other driver services.
Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores is headquartered in Oklahoma City, Okla., and has more than 390 locations in 40 states.
