A number of Southern California McDonald’s locations will provide free breakfast to K-8 children on Sept. 13.
On Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2016, participating McDonald’s restaurants throughout Southern California will be offering free breakfast for students in kindergarten through eighth grade from 6:30-9:30 a.m.
In Southern California, students can enjoy any breakfast muffin sandwich, apple slices or Yoplait Go-Gurt low-fat strawberry yogurt and milk. Students younger than 13 years of age are required to be accompanied by a parent/adult to redeem this offer at participating McDonald’s restaurants. Offer may vary throughout the state and only one breakfast is allowed per student.
“There are a lot of changes taking place at McDonald’s, but one thing that’s never changed is our commitment to the well-being of children,” said Paul Tulaphorn, McDonald’s owner/operator and president of the McDonald’s Operators’ Association of Southern California (MOASC). “We are proud to offer a great-tasting, free breakfast with fresh, healthy ingredients for the fifth year.”
Earlier this month, McDonald’s announced a number of changes across the menu as the company continues to evolve. One included removing artificial preservative from omelet-style eggs served on certain breakfast sandwiches.
