CITGO Petroleum Corp. has announced a new partnership with Huddle Inc., and the launch of the CITGO & Huddle Inc. High School Ticket Program.
Through this new program, which runs through May 2014, CITGO will help 222 high schools in Tampa, Fla.; Mobile, Dothan and Montgomery, Ala.; and Greenville and New Bern, N.C. save more than $150,000 by offsetting the schools’ ticket printing costs.
Through the CITGO & Huddle Inc. High School Ticket Program, CITGO can save its high school partners the cost of printing school event tickets by providing printed tickets to the schools at no cost. Each ticket also includes a CITGO coupon that is customized by market, ranging from CITGO discounts to giveaways at local CITGO stations.
“Education is one of the four CITGO pillars in our social responsibility program so we are very excited to be working with Huddle Inc. to provide much-needed support to these local schools,” said Gustavo Velásquez, vice president of supply and marketing with CITGO. “By offsetting required ticket costs, more than 200 schools can now focus resources on other, more critical needs for their classrooms.”
