Kum & Go customers can add $1 to their purchase at any Kum & Go store to benefit tornado victims.
Kum & Go is joining the American Red Cross disaster relief effort in Oklahoma. The convenience retailer is harnessing its network of more than 400 stores across 11 states to raise money for the victims of the deadly tornados in Oklahoma.
Kum & Go’s in-store campaign gives its customers the option of adding $1 to each purchase they make at a Kum & Go store. Every dollar donated will go directly to the Red Cross for relief efforts. The campaign will run through Friday, May 31.
“Our hearts and thoughts are with the people of Oklahoma,” said Kyle Krause, president and CEO of Kum & Go. “We are thankful for the opportunity to help and grateful to our Kum & Go customers for their generous participation.”
“Kum & Go has partnered with the Red Cross in the past. They once again are working alongside us to provide disaster relief during this critical time,” said Leslie Schaffer, regional CEO of the American Red Cross. “The Red Cross will use these very generous donations to provide disaster victims in Oklahoma with food, shelter and emotional support.”
