“Six-String Celebration” March 1-6 to provide celebrities, music, fun and prizes for customers.
TravelCenters of America LLC (TA) is planning a grand reopening celebration event March 1-6 at the newly remodeled and reopened Nashville TA located at 111 North First Street, outside downtown Nashville, Tenn.
Named “Six-String Celebration,” the week’s events promise customers music, fun and prizes with ample recognition of the site’s Music City home.
Highlights include:
March 1
• Radio remote broadcast of Nashville native Dave Nemo, Sirius/XM Road Dog Network radio personality from inside the facility. Nemo’s program airs from 7 a.m. until 11 a.m. daily.
• Official ribbon cutting ceremony with the Mayor of the City of Nashville and other city dignitaries.
March 3
• Meet and greet with the company’s radio voice, actor John Ratzenberger, formerly of Cheers, Made in America and the voice in countless Pixar family movies. Times are 11 a.m. to noon and again at 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
March 4
• Meet and greet with Nashville recording artist and former professional truck driver Aaron Tippin from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
March 5-6
• Outdoor concerts with Joey Holliday, long haul professional truck driver and popular singer at trucking events across the country.
In addition to these events, each evening, local Nashville singers will appear for acoustic performances inside the restaurant from 6:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Drivers can also seek valuable health and wellness information from the Medical Research Vehicle (MeRV) outside in the TA parking lot. In addition, the Lucas Oil racecar simulator will be on hand, also in the parking lot, on March 3-4. For a small donation to the St. Christopher’s Driver Relief Fund, drivers can recreate the excitement and reality of a dirt track racer.
Throughout the week, prize wheels within the MeRV and the Lucas Oil simulator will allow drivers to win great prizes. Lastly, special promotional cards featuring a gift guitar pick enables customers to “pick” their favorite deal to experience while visiting the TA Nashville site.
The TA Nashville site is situated off of I-24 at Exit 48 (James Robertson Parkway) near the Tennessee Titans football stadium.
