C-stores in the Phoenix, Ariz., metropolitan area are about to get even more convenient now that the 60 local 7-Eleven stores are selling all day and reduced all day passes for the Valley Metro-the transit system for the greater Phoenix area, ABC15 News reported.
“Our goal is to make it as easy and convenient as possible for our transit passengers to buy all-day passes,” said David Boggs, Valley Metro executive director.
Balwinder Singh, one local 7-Eleven franchisee owner told ABC15 that customers were asking him if the store could sell the passes.
“I think it’s a great idea, we are saving time and money helping the customers,” said Signh. “We have a bus stop right in front of the store, so selling transit passes provides a lot of convenience to Valley Metro passengers.”
7-Eleven is currently the only convenience store chain in the Valley to sell the passes.
