Popular bakery café brand is only current location in a convenience store/gas station.
Nestlé Toll House Café by Chip, an international bakery café chain, has started serving as opened a new location inside a convenience store at 1605 South River Road in Des Plaines, Ill.
It is the only Nestlé Toll House Café by Chip now open in a convenience store that also doubles as a gas station.
The café offers freshly baked cookies, specialty baked treats and customized cookie cakes, as well as a delicious array of savory items, including flatbreads, paninis and wraps.
“Every new café opening is exciting to us, but this one is extra special because it marks two important milestones: Our only café in Des Plaines and the only existing café located inside a convenience store/gas station,” said Ziad Dalal, president of Crest Foods Inc., the franchisor of Nestlé Toll House Café by Chip. “We are excited to open up in this great location and to begin serving our freshly baked treats to this wonderful community.”
Des Plaines’ new Nestlé Toll House Café by Chip is the brand’s fifth location in Illinois and among more than 160 cafés system-wide. The café is open daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
