Rutter’s now has seven stores with beer and five more in the planning stages.
Rutter’s is growing its beer sales.
The Rutter’s on Richland Avenue in York, Pa. has introduced a Beer Cave. This Rutter’s was remodeled to be able to incorporate the Beer Cave and seating for 30 guests. It is now the second Rutter’s and the second convenience store in York County to sell beer and the 7th Rutter’s store, now selling beer. Rutter’s has five more licensed stores under development.
Rutter’s Beer Caves are stocked with a broad selection of domestic, imported, and craft beers and ciders. Along the front cooler doors, singles and six packs are also available for customers. Rutter’s Beer Caves are set at 29 degrees, the optimal beer temperature. Rutter’s customers are able to purchase items from the Beer Cave Monday thru Saturday from 7 a.m. until 2 a.m. and on Sundays from 9 a.m. until 2 a.m. These are the hours in compliance with Pennsylvania law.
