Rutter’s Farm Stores will give $200,000 to 12 preschools to fund scholarship opportunities for children throughout south central Pennsylvania, the company announced this week.
York County, Pa.-based Rutter’s has donated more than $404,000 to local children’s charities so far this year and over $4.13 million since 2003.
“Our focus is improving the lives of local children. We invest in future generations by giving children the opportunity to learn and grow with the hope that someday they will give back and help others,” said Rutter’s CEO Scott Hartman.

Dayspring Christian Academy $5,000
Rutter’s has been active in the Central Pennsylvania community since its beginning in 1921.
