Rutter’s Farm Stores has opened the doors at its second location in Dauphin county, providing customers east of the Susquehanna River more opportunity to take advantage of the Rutter’s Rewards program, the most extensive fuel discount program in the convenience store industry.
One of the largest of the chain’s 60 stores, the 6,280 square feet site is located at 2800 Vine St. in Middletown. The new site is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and includes 12 fueling spaces and four high-speed truck diesel fueling spaces. The store also offers round the clock access to Rutter’s award-winning food menu and gourmet coffee bar, free Wi-Fi and seating for 21 people. The store will also provide the Middletown community with convenient access to Rutter’s iced teas and wholesome local dairy products, including central Pennsylvania’s favorite chocolate milk.

Customers will have access to the Rutter’s Rewards program, which in addition to providing an instant three cents per gallon discount, also allows customers to earn cents off per gallon fuel savings. The fuel rewards can be redeemed on up to 20 gallons and the savings are unlimited. There are over 1,800 qualifying products throughout the store, including virtually all beverages, snacks, candy, electronic cigarettes and fresh made menu items.
Most items on Rutter’s signature food menu have Rutter’s Rewards cents off values assigned to them, including one-of-a- kind favorites like the new beef short-ribs, mahi-mahi fish tenders, chicken wings and Ultimate Burgers. The menu, which is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, features bread baked fresh in the store daily, 100% Certified Angus beef burgers and meatballs, and first cut pastrami, brisket and corned beef.
Smart phone users can download Rutter’s mobile app, the convenience store industry’s first, to access their Rutter’s Rewards account, redeem mobile coupons, find Rutter’s gas prices by store and play games to win free merchandise.
