Baltimore Ravens football fans filled up the Green Turtle Sports Bar & Grille on April 3 to see the three Time All Pro and World Champion at the Jiffy Mart Boys and Girls Club Autograph signing event. The event helped raise both funds and awareness for the Boys and Girls Club.

“The funds raised will be used to help send the kids to the 2014 summer camp program here in Westminster, Md.,” said Tom Moser, general manager for Jiffy Mart. Moser added, “The kids and their families are great customers of our Jiffy Mart stores and we wanted to find a way to give back to them.”

Nearly 200 people lined up for autographs. Those in attendance were also entered to win a Super Bowl Football signed by the Baltimore Football World Champion Kicking Team, Justin Tucker, Sam Koch, and Morgan Cox. As an added treat, Martins Chips and Home Team Snacks provided samples to those in line and Jiffy Mart filled goodie bags with FREE coupons to be used at their convenience stores in Carroll County, Md.

The Jiffy Mart team made a check presentation on May 27 totaling $1,700 to The Boys and Girls Club of Westminster. The check was presented to the director of the club along with a very large group of smiling kids.

“The kids were chanting Jiffy Mart, Jiffy Mart and Thank you, Thank you while they held the check for the posed picture with us,” said Dwayne Cover, business manager for Jiffy Mart. He added, “We love finding creative ways to have fun while helping such a great cause.”
