Parker’s Hires Expert Tobacco Sales Leader

Parker’s recently hired tobacco sales leader Mike Gancedo as a category manager at Parker’s. In his new position, Gancedo is responsible for the sale of tobacco products at all Parker’s retail stores.

Gancedo brings 20 years of retail experience to his position at Parker’s, including 13 years of Fortune 500 company management experience. Before joining Parker’s, he served as the South chain sales manager for Liggett Vector Tobacco Co.

Gancedo also worked for RJ Reynolds Tobacco Co. for 14 years, including serving as senior key account manager, senior division manager and division retail manager.

He has earned national recognition for creating a new sales program, which increased market share and has been honored by RJ Reynolds Tobacco Co. with the Division of the Year Award and the Breakthrough Accomplishment Award.

Gancedo was born and raised in California and has worked in cities across the country including Miami, Detroit and Boston. He recently moved to Savannah from Acworth, Ga.

Parker’s currently operates 31 convenience stores dedicated to superior customer experience in six counties throughout southeast Georgia and South Carolina and sells Parker’s proprietary brand gasoline.
