The eighth edition of the CITGO-Venezuela Heating Oil Program will launch for the 2012-2013 season at the Night of Peace Shelter in Windsor Mill, Md., this coming Thursday, Jan. 31.
The charitable program, which has benefitted more than 1.7 million people since its inception, is run with the assistance of Citizens Energy Corp., a national non-profit energy company.
President and CEO Alejandro Granado of CITGO and Citizens Energy Chairman Joseph P. Kennedy II will join Congressman Elijah Cummings of Maryland, and other distinguished guests to make the first heating oil delivery of this year’s campaign and discuss the life-altering assistance the program has provided since its inauguration in 2005.
