2012 Regional Franchisee of the Year Award goes to Sequin, Texas business owner.
SUBWAY restaurant chain has named Larry Gerosa of Seguin, Texas as the recipient of its 2012 Regional Franchisee of the Year award for single-unit owners from the chain’s domestic developed markets.
The award was presented during the company’s recent convention held in Orlando, Fla.
As a SUBWAY Franchisee of the Year, Gerosa is honored for accomplishments in building sales and increasing profitability while also achieving excellent store evaluations. He was selected from among the chain’s more than 12,000 U.S. and Canadian franchisees.
“This is a great honor and it is also humbling as there are a lot of great, hard working franchisees out there. Our store is located in a small town just east of San Antonio and just a block or so north of Interstate 10. Our customer base continues to grow because of the great sandwiches and our friendly, enthusiastic staff,” said Gerosa.
With experience (primarily) in the convenience store industry for over 30 years as a multi-unit manager and consultant, Gerosa makes a habit to be an innovator. Customers always come to him first as he believes that partners, family and staff can only benefit when business continues to grow. Subway has proven to be the top producer of his food offerings, which include a serious coffee bar, bakery, nationally noted breakfast tacos and Cooper’s Express Fried Chicken. His Subway is full service and open 24-hours, located inside Jud’s.
“We have great admiration for the hard work and dedication of the thousands of Subway Franchisees throughout the world and in the millions of customers that they serve. Franchise Owners like Larry continue to be the heart and soul of the Subway family. They are on the front lines daily and their ability to deliver a great customer experience again and again is what keeps our fans coming back. Our success depends upon their excellence in operating their restaurant and motivating their team to provide the best service and sandwiches possible,” said Don Fertman, chief development officer for the SUBWAY restaurant chain.
