Event raises $20,000 for injured service men and women.
For the second consecutive year, Hoshizaki America Inc. hosted a scramble golf event benefiting the Wounded Warriors Project: an organization that raises aid for severely injured service men and women.
The event was held on Friday, May 11 at White Water Country Club, Fayetteville, Ga. More than 30 sponsors and 20 teams made very generous donations, which doubled the amount contributed last year by raising a total of $20,000.
The day began with a military march and bag pipes, followed by entertainment by Rocky “rockstar” Shipes, a pro trick shot performer. The event was closed with dinner, a check presentation and an awards banquet, which included speaker, Sergeant First Class Hugh Conlon IV.
Headquartered in Peachtree City, Ga., with manufacturing operations in the U.S., Hoshizaki manufactures foodservice equipment – ice makers, ice dispensers, refrigerators/freezers, dishwashers and related accessories.
