Jackson’s Food Stores turns to Acumera for all of its network integration and management, says Patrick Abernathy.
Meridian, Idaho-based Jacksons Food Stores Inc. chose Acumera to manage its network and connections with the chain’s 200 retail locations with more than 1,900 store systems.
With Acumera, Jackson’s Food Stores will have more information security, connectivity and visibility across the company.
Patrick Abernathy, Jacksons Food Stores director of information technology, said the c-store chain selected to work with Acumera because of its consistent attention to connectivity, security and visibility, along with strong carrier relationships.
“Acumera provides sophisticated network services, which enable us to provide better remote support for our stores and freeing up staff time to focus on other systems and projects,” Abernathy said. “We believe that enlisting Acumera not only satisfies our functional requirements, but also enhances our ability to conduct better support for our locations.”
Dirk Heinen, CEO of Acumera, said he’s “pleased to be supporting an industry leader like Jacksons.”
“Security and high availability, built around an exceptionally agile platform, is the new technology baseline for leaders in the convenience store industry,” Heinen said.
Jacksons Food Stores Inc. operates more than 600 company or contracted retail outlets in eight western states.
