Hunt Brothers Pizza celebrated in victory lane Aug. 24 when the made-to-order convenience store pizza chain’s NASCAR driver, Kevin Harvick, won the Camping World Truck Series O’Reilly Auto Parts 200 at Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol, Tenn., driving the Hunt Brothers Pizza No. 2 Chevrolet Silverado.

Hunt Brothers Pizza has been a NASCAR sponsor since 2007, and is in its first year as a sponsor with the Kevin Harvick Inc. (KHI) racing team. The win marks the first time as a primary NASCAR sponsor that Hunt Brothers Pizza has been to victory lane.

“We couldn’t be more thrilled to celebrate our first win with Kevin Harvick,” said Scott Hunt, CEO of Hunt Brothers Pizza. “We have been so blessed to work with such an amazing team this year, and it’s a dream come true to see Hunt Brothers Pizza in victory lane.”

Coming off back-to-back wins in the Truck Series, Harvick was eager to add a third-consecutive win in Bristol, particularly in the Hunt Brothers Pizza No. 2 Chevrolet Silverado.

“I’ve got to thank all the people from Hunt Brothers Pizza,” said Harvick, driver and KHI co-owner. “We’re really excited to get them into victory lane.”

This is the first time in Harvick’s career to win three consecutive Truck Series races. The win moves Harvick and the No. 2 team into the lead of the Truck Series Owner’s Point standings.

Hunt Brothers Pizza will attempt to race into victory lane three more times this season. The company will serve as primary sponsor of the No. 4 Chevrolet Impala with Harvick behind the wheel during the Nationwide Series race at Kansas Speedway Oct. 8. They will also serve as the primary sponsor of KHI Nationwide Series driver Elliott Sadler, who will climb in the driver’s seat of the No. 2 Chevrolet Silverado for the two final Truck Series races at Texas Motor Speedway Nov. 4 and Homestead-Miami Speedway No.18.

Also this race season, Harvick and Sadler are encouraging consumers to join them in the winner’s circle by entering The Great Race. Through the end of the NASCAR season, fans can collect proofs of purchase from large Hunt Brothers Pizza boxes to redeem prizes and racing gear signed by Harvick and Sadler, or enter the grand prize sweepstakes to win an authentic Hunt Brothers Pizza race car hood signed by both drivers.
