“We’re confident that this relationship will bring more value and convenience to our guests,” says Tim Hortons’ chief operating officer.
Mirabito has signed an agreement with Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop to open 44 co-branded convenience and gas locations throughout Upstate New York by 2012, with the vast majority of locations anticipated to open in 2011.
“We’re excited to see the Tim Hortons brand expand its presence in New York State but also to expand our relationship with Mirabito,” said David Clanachan, chief operations officer, U.S. and International, Tim Hortons. “We’re confident that this relationship will bring more value and convenience to our guests.”
The new co-branded locations will be comprised of both self-serve and full-serve restaurants and join two already existing co-branded locations in New York State. Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop has already been introduced in the Binghamton, N.Y. area to the Mirabito Convenience store location in Castle Creek, NY. Last month, Tim Hortons opened inside a Mirabito location in Brewerton, N.Y., according to Binghamton News 34. Mirabito has revamped its existing stores’ interiors to incorporate the Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop brand. Recently, Mirabito has opened Tim Hortons locations at its stores in Camillus, Syracuse, Central Square, Vestal, Endicott, Castle Creek and Hancock.
“Mirabito searched long and hard for a solid partner in enhancing our convenience store offerings. Tim Hortons stood out as a company that shares our same principles of providing value, quality and convenience to customers,” said Joseph Mirabito, CEO of Mirabito, Quickway, Convenience Express stores and Mirabito Energy Products.
Mirabito provides commercial and residential energy products throughout Upstate New York. In addition, Mirabito owns and operates more than 55 convenience and gas locations throughout Upstate New York.
