Jeff Dezen Public Relations to provide guidance on communications, assist with event planning.
Richmond, Va.-based Mid-Atlantic Convenience Stores (MACS), one of ExxonMobil’s largest consortiums of retailers in the U.S., has selected Jeff Dezen Public Relations (JDPR) to be the company’s PR consulting group.
“The strategic insights of the professionals at JDPR already are demonstrating value for MACS as we pursue rapid expansion,” said Jim Summers, president and chief operating officer of MACS. “We welcome JDPR to our team and look forward to working with them.”
Based in Greenville, S.C., and in its 21st year of operation, JDPR is set to provide guidance on strategic communications planning, as well as support for national and local media relations. The firm also plans to assist with promotions and event planning, in addition to consulting on issues management for MACS. MACS is comprised of approximately 300 company-owned and dealer retail locations throughout Maryland and Virginia, in addition to its wholesale fuel distribution network.
“The MACS leadership team have phenomenal credentials in the c-store channel and afford us a tremendous opportunity to contribute meaningfully to their business development strategies,” said Jeff Dezen, president of JDPR. “Their trajectory for growth allows for innovative communications to support both corporate and hyper-local store marketing.”
