Kum & Go L.C., headquartered in West Des Moines, Iowa, opened a new convenience store in Neosho, Mo., on Friday, Aug. 21.
The 3,400-square-foot store took only 84 days to construct and is located at Highway 60 & Kodiak Road in Neosho.
“Kum & Go is please to open our second store in Neosho, and plans to provide the best customer service for everyone who visits us,” said Kyle Krause, president and CEO of Kum & Go, which operates 400 convenience stores in 12 states (Iowa, Arkansas, Colorado, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Wyoming and Wisconsin). “We are eager to offer interstate travelers, businesses and patrons within the Neosho community an additional Kum & Go location for all their convenience store needs.”
The new store features twelve conventional fueling stations, including space for semitrailers, and offers unleaded, unleaded plus, premium, E85 and diesel fuels.
In addition to offering quality gasoline, Kum & Go stores feature a wide selection of food and beverage products, including Java Ridge Premium Coffee, Go Fresh Market Sandwiches and Nuclear energy drinks. The company also offers potato chips, bottled water, cookies and candy under the well-known Hiland brand name in its stores.
“We want Kum & Go to become Neosho’s store of choice for coffee or pop in the morning, gas after work and all the stops in between,” Krause said.
As part of Kum & Go’s commitment to developing environmentally-friendly building and operating practices, the new Neosho store integrates heavily insulated glass, LED cooler door lights and energy-efficient coolers into its energy-efficient design.
