Rutter’s Marks Another Opening By Giving

Celebrating the opening of its first convenience store in Chambersburg, Pa., Rutter’s Farm Stores has donated $3,000 to three charitable organizations.

“We’re proud to be a part of the Chambersburg community and to support these worthy organizations and the many good things they do,” said Scott Hartman, president and CEO at Rutter’s Farm Stores.

The recipients each received $1,000. They include:

  • Franklin County Homeless Shelter, for the purchase of food and other supplies;
  • Salvation Army, for its program ministries including the feeding program, children’s weekly club and supervised visitation program;
  • United Churches Clearing House, to help with the financial needs of the community.
