Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market said it has announced the locations of an additional 11 Fresh & Easy markets in Arizona. The convenience chain, a spinoff of UK-based Tesco, has 26 stores operating in that state, with another store scheduled to open Nov. 13.
All 11 of the newly announced sites are in Phoenix and its suburbs.
"We are starting to change the way people shop. We sell restaurant-quality food at incredible prices and people are really noticing the value Fresh & Easy offers," said Tim Mason, CEO Fresh & Easy. "We look forward to opening more stores and bringing more great food and quality jobs to neighborhoods here in Arizona."
The company currently has 96 stores operating in California, Arizona and Nevada.
Each store employs about 20 to 30 people.
