Giles Rolls Out New Island Deli

Giles Foodservice Equipment has introduced an island deli case designed to maximize visibility of packaged products while keeping the products and packaging fresh. The new display is offered in single-tier and double-tier models, both available in 6-foot or 4-foot sizes.

The Giles Island Display Case (GIDC) was developed to meet retailer needs for product showcasing while also maximizing product space and offering seamless, heated glass to provide an even temperature across the entire glass surface.

Deli personnel can place up to 42 pre-cooked packaged whole chickens for self service in the GIDC, and the unit also increases impulse sales of products, regardless of its in-store placement.

The double-tier GIDC comes with independent controls for each tier, though both the double- and single-tier cases come with features including energy-efficient florescent lights, a seamless flat glass top for an easy-to-clean surface, a protective bumper around the entire display, as well as locking 4-inch casters to ensure unit mobility.
