Expansions and redesigns announced for new locations.

Giant Oil has unveiled plans to acquire all 32 company-owned BP service stations in the Dayton, Ohio. market by the end of the year, according to the South Florida Business Journal.

Tampa-based Giant Oil Inc.–which owns gas stations and convenience stores in Florida and Ohio as well as a wholesale fuel distribution operation–is currently holding a contract to purchase the sites. According to the company, plans to take over would go into effect in November or early December if the deal goes as scheduled, owner Basem Ali told the newspaper.

Ali has plans to redesign stores at some of the older locations. He declined to disclose how much the company would invest in the expansions, and also remained silent on the purchase price, number of stores the company owns or annual revenue.
