Celebrates ribbon cutting with donation to three local charities.
Rutter’s has opened the doors to its latest convenience store and hosted a grand opening celebration on May 11. The new location is in Annville, Pa.
During the ribbon cutting ceremony, Rutter’s donated $1,000 to three local charitable organizations. Recipients were the South Annville Township Police Department, which will use the donation for new bulletproof vests, the Union Hose Company of Annville and The Caring Cupboard.
This is Rutter’s first location in Lebanon County and its 67th store. The Annville location also kicks-off Rutter’s 2017 new store locations. Attendees at the Annville Grand Opening included representatives from Pennsylvania House Representative Francis Ryan’s Office, representatives from Pennsylvania Senator Mike Folmer’s Office, Lebanon County Chairman and Vice Chairman, and South Annville Township Officials.
“After a 2016 record breaking year of charitable giving, we are excited to be kicking off the 2017 season with three deserving organizations. Donating in new markets where our stores are being built is a great way to welcome the community to Rutter’s and thank them for their warm support right back. Here’s to another record breaking year,” said Derek Gaskins, chief customer officer.
