C-store customers can now shop for a range of beer options, seven days a week at select Rutter’s locations.
Having recently gained the ability to sell beer, Rutter’s rolls out its new beer cave offering at three locations.
The first three Rutter’s stores to feature beer are located in Mercersburg, Newberrytown, and Hamburg, Pa. Rutter’s is the first Convenience Store in Franklin, York, and Berks Counties to start selling beer.
Rutter’s Beer Caves are set at frosty 29 degrees, the perfect beer drinking temperature. Rutter’s is selling a cold selection of craft, domestic, and imported beers and ciders available in singles, six and 12 packs.
The restaurant area with the Beer Cave has seating for at least 30 customers. Rutter’s customers will be able to purchase beer Monday thru Saturday from 7 a.m. until 2 a.m. and on Sundays from 9 a.m. until 2 a.m., as in accordance with Pennsylvania Law.
Rutter’s will also be bringing beer to the first Lancaster County location to sell beer with its Leola store in a few weeks.
“Rutter’s is committed to responsible retailing, and delivering quality convenience to communities we serve. We are excited that we will be able to offer the convenience of beer purchases to complement our extensive restaurant food in our stores,” said Derek Gaskins, chief customer officer.
