Measure the effectiveness of your limited time offerings.
Many c-store retailers offer limited time offerings (LTOs) among their foodservice items, but many don’t record and analyze the results of how those offerings fared with customers. LTOs offer ample opportunity to gain feedback from your customer base on what types of items, flavors, etc. appeal to them most. By recording and reviewing the success or failure of these items, you can better tailor your next offering or even add an LTO as a full-time item. Retailers who don’t take the time for this analysis are missing out on a key opportunity for gaining important knowledge about their customers’ wants and needs.
