Reports indicate the online retailers is considering c-store locations as an extension of its same-day delivery subscription service.
Watch out convenience stores: Amazon is reported to be looking into expanding into brick-and-mortar convenience stores and curbside pickup locations, according to a report by Marketplace.com.
The c-store concept would offer perishable items such as milk and produce. The Wall Street Journal reported that members of Amazon’s same-day delivery subscription service would have exclusive access to the c-stores.
An Amazon spokeswoman told Markeplace.com that the company doesn’t comment “on rumors or speculations.”
