The Guess Corp. has revealed plans for an upscale dining facility to accompany the company’s upscale convenience stores.
Following the recent announcement of the new upscale convenience stores that will soon be introduced by The Guess Corp., the company has now announced that some of these stores will be accompanied by an upscale dining experience.
This new dining experience has been dubbed The Guess Bread Co., and it will be launched in conjunction with the company’s GP Express brand. According to a recent report from Bazinga, The Guess Bread Co. will offer an upscale dining experience, with only be 20 tables per restaurant and two chairs per table. This couples-only eatery will offer sandwiches, soups, salads, desserts, breads, cheesecakes and wine, among other dine-in or take-out menu options.
Bazinga reported that the restaurant will feature an open kitchen, where bread will be baked fresh on-site.
The Guess Corp. is currently offering operating partnerships both the restaurant and the convenience stores. Bazinga reported that the company has announced plans to construct 250 restaurants over the next 18 months. The average cost for each restaurant is expected to be approximately $3 million. Scott+Cormia, the designers of the GP Express sites, have also created the designs for The Guess Bread Co.
