QuickChek has announced the opening of two stores in Howell, N.J, which will feature the company’s new store prototype.
Among a number of new locations planned to open in 2016, QuickChek has announced the opening of two new locations in Howell, N.J. this spring.
The Whitehouse Station, N.J.-based fresh convenience market chain opened a new 5,496-square-foot store at 1180 Route 33 in the Farmingdale section of Howell, N.J. on Tuesday, May 10, 2016.
A second store located on Route 9 is scheduled to open later in the spring.
The new stores will be open 24 hours a day and feature an in-store Q Café, which rivals any coffee shop and is now a showcase of the company’s new prototype stores.
Located in between its fresh order deli in which consumers can create custom-made oven-toasted fresh subs, sandwiches, wraps and salads and its renowned coffee wall, the Q Café features friendly baristas who custom make more than 60 varieties of handcrafted hot and iced drinks. The menu features fresh-brewed cappuccinos, lattes and espressos brewed with QuickChek’s Dark Roast espresso beans, blended-to-order fruit smoothies, hot chocolate, chai teas, decadent frozen chocolate treats, assorted fruit teas including fruit tea smoothies, iced and frozen fruit lemonade, iced and frozen lattes and your choice of espresso in regular, decaf and extra shots.
Additional store amenities include no-fee ATMs, which provide additional added value to consumers, indoor seating for 13 people and outdoor seating for eight, eight gasoline pumps offering high-quality fuel at value prices and 65 parking spaces.
“Our Q Cafés align perfectly with our customers’ desire to create and enjoy hot and cold beverages exactly as they want them any time of day or night,” said QuickChek CEO Dean Durling.
QuickChek stores provide one-stop shopping, offering a wide variety of grocery and market items including fresh baked goods from an in-store bakery and excellent customer service provided by locally hired team members. Modern by industry standards, the family-owned company maintains bright clean stores, well-lighted fuel stations and parking lots with wide, easy-to-use entrances and exits that add to a shopper’s convenience.
Durling noted the new store will employ 45 people, most of who live locally. Each new QuickChek typically generates approximately $1 million in state and local tax revenue, adding to the positive impact QuickChek has on the local economy.
Committed to giving back to the communities it serves, QuickChek will donate 25 cents for every sub, sandwich and wrap sold in the store from May 10-June 9, 2016 to the Colts Neck High School wrestling program.
Grand Opening promotions include free medium coffee and free 20-ounce iced coffee offered to all patrons and free 20-ounce fountain or QuickFreeze drinks for children five-feet-tall-and-under from May 10-May 22, 2016. All 6-inch subs are $2.99 and Q Café handcrafted specialty drinks are $1.99 for a limited time.
