VERC is investing in the future of the communities it serves through educational grants.
A grant for $500, made possible by ExxonMobil Educational Alliance Program, has been presented to Fitchburg High School by VERC Enterprises, a convenience store and Mobil/Gulf gasoline operator with 24 locations throughout eastern Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
Funded by the ExxonMobil Corp., the ExxonMobil Educational Alliance program is designed to provide local retailers an opportunity to invest in the future of their communities through educational grants to neighborhood schools.
Meagan Newcomb, manager of the VERC Fitchburg Circle K Mobil, presented the check to Fitchburg High principal Jeremy Roche.
“We’re proud to participate in such a fine program that recognizes and supports the quality of local schools,” said Leo Vercollone, CEO of VERC Enterprises.
