New Sunoco station brings one of the first Laredo Taco Co. locations to the East Coast.
Sunoco LP has announced that it will be constructing a new convenience store at the Washington Dulles International Airport. The new station is being constructed to serve the growing customer base at the airport.
According to a report from Alexandria News, the new 8,600-square- foot APlus convenience store, which will be built adjacent to the existing airport gas station, a 50% larger site, will feature 14 fuel pumps, offering 28 fueling positions for vehicles, and the store will contain a Subway sandwich shop and one of the first Laredo Taco Company eateries on the East Coast. The store is slated to be built just off the Dulles Airport Access Highway. The store is expected to open in fall 2016. The current station will then close.
The new station is being constructed to fulfill the Airport’s vision of bringing the best service to travelers. The new station will be located along the rental car return route, on Rudder Road. Customers at the new station will be able to fuel up at competitive prices, utilize an automated car wash, park in one of 81 spaces, shop in the APlus store and, with indoor seating for 45 people and 10 outdoor tables, customers can enjoy fresh Laredo Taco Company products or a Subway sandwich onsite.
