Fundraising efforts made throughout the year by CPD operated c-stores and fueling stations raise $96,000 for St. Jude.
Results of CPD Energy Corp.’s Annual Charity Drive, on behalf of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, have been revealed.
At an annual recognition meeting for company managers on Dec. 16, 2015, CPD Energy Corp. presented a check in the amount of $96,000 to a representative of St. Jude.
The charitable amount raised is the result of efforts throughout the calendar year at company operated convenience stores and gasoline fueling stations located in the Tri-State area. Money is raised primarily from the October Pumpkin Pinup Event and the annual Bass and Bluefish fishing tournament held in Old Saybrook, Conn. each June.
