KickBack has expanded its Fantasy Football program to further drive sales of its retailer partners.
As the 2015 National Football League (NFL) season approaches, KickBack Points is preparing this year’s season of KickBack Fantasy Football. For this year’s competition, KickBack has devised new opportunities to earn prizes and points, and for the third year in a row, a grand prize winner will receive a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
This year’s grand prize will provide the KickBack Points coalition cardholder with the most Fantasy Football points at the end of the season with an all-expenses paid trip for two to the Big Bowl game on Feb. 7, 2016 in Santa Clara, Calif.
This unique value proposition can be a great help to retailers looking to drive sales. Consider Angela Easley, of Ashland, Mo., whose loyalty to FastLane Convenience Stores and KickBack Points in Missouri, earned her a trip to Arizona for the Big Game between the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots in February 2015.
That’s because Easley, a loyal FastLane customer, was KickBack Points’ 2014 Fantasy Football grand prize winner. FastLane, which is a Phillips 66 fuel marketer, joined the KickBack Points program in 2012.
Beginning Sept. 1, 2015, KickBack cardholders will again get their chance to win a trip to the Big Game. KickBack customers can earn one new fantasy football player every time they use their KickBack Points card. One in every two transactions will earn a new fantasy football player. The player will be displayed at the bottom of their receipt. A total of nine NFL players can be collected over the course of the season to complete their fantasy team.
Each week, cardholders earn Fantasy Football points based on the real life performance of each NFL player they collect. Weekly Fantasy Football points will be accumulated over the entire course of the NFL season. The KickBack Points Coalition cardholder with the most Fantasy Football points at the end of the season will win the grand prize.
KickBack cardholders must enroll their KickBack Points Card in the fantasy football program by visiting www.kickbackpoints.com. The KickBack Website also details player performance, official scoring and a weekly leader board. “Since we launched the KickBack Fantasy Football promotion in 2013, it has become an instant hit with our customers and our retail partners,” said Patrick Lewis, CEO of KickBack Rewards Systems. “KickBack’s loyalty solutions help retailers make the shopping experience more personal. Customers absolutely love recognition and having a connection with the brands they trust the most.”
KickBack’s 2014 Fantasy Football season was an extremely successful one for the company. During the promotion, more than 3 million players were given out to customers, plus the number of transactions, frequency of visits to stores, average transactions per day and average redemptions per store all experienced double-digit growth for participating retailers during the life of the promotion. In 2015, KickBack committed to doubling-down on its success by expanding the promotion to help its retailer partners. For example, KickBack has redesigned the point-of-purchase (POP) displays to be more colorful and attractive to draw in-store attention to the contest, the company has committed to giving away 5 million points free in weekly contests and redesigned the www.kickbackpoints.com Website to ensure a more pleasurable viewing experience for fantasy players.
KickBack will also continue is popular Game of 33 weekly side game, which was introduced last year and will run throughout the 2015 NFL season. Each cardholder whose team has a final score of 33 for the week will instantly be awarded 100 KickBack Points.
“When you add all these things together, we are elevating our commitment to our retailers and our cardholders to offer them a fun and exciting promotion that everyone can participate in,” Lewis said.
