QuickChek Corp. has opened its newest store in its hometown.
On Monday, Aug. 10, QuickChek, the Whitehouse Station, N.J.-based c-store chain, opened a new 5,700-square-foot store at 9 Howard Boulevard in Mount Arlington, N.J.
The new store is less than one mile from an older QuickChek location in the borough which was closed when the new store opened at 5 p.m. on Monday.
“We have enjoyed a long history serving the Mount Arlington community and we look forward to continuing to serve this market with our newest products and services,” said QuickChek CEO Dean Durling, whose family-owned company opened its first store in the borough in 1976.
The new store will be open 24 hours a day and will feature a Q Café, which offers nearly 40 varieties of hot and iced coffees, iced caramel macchiato, fresh brewed cappuccinos, lattes and espressos, blended-to-order fruit smoothies and decadent frozen treats. The store will also offer no-fee ATMs which provide additional added value to consumers, indoor seating for 13 people and outdoor seating for eight, five fueling stations and 46 parking spaces.
The new store employs 30 people with most moving from the previous store, which opened in 1999.
As part of its grand opening, QuickChek will donate $0.25 for every sub, sandwich and wrap sold in the store from Aug. 10-Sept. 9, 2015 to the Mount Arlington Munchkin youth soccer teams. Over the years, QuickChek has raised millions of dollars for a variety of local causes benefiting children, veterans and families.
Consumers can enjoy savings on a variety of products by downloading the QuickChek mobile app.
QuickChek’s food and beverage program features touch screen technology which allows consumers to create custom-made oven-toasted subs, sandwiches, wraps and salads.
QuickChek stores provide one-stop shopping, offering a wide variety of grocery and market items including fresh baked goods from an in-store bakery and customer service provided by locally hired team members. Modern by industry standards, the company maintains bright clean stores, well-lighted fuel stations and parking lots with wide, easy-to-use entrances and exits that add to a shopper’s convenience.
