New Love’s Travel Stop provides a new place for drivers to stop in Jonesboro, Ark.
Love’s Travel Stops opened its doors for business on July 2, 2015, providing drivers a new place to purchase fuel, snacks, meals and more along U.S. Highway 63 in Jonesboro, Ark.
The 24-hour facility is more than 9,000 square feet and adds approximately 35 jobs to the Jonesboro area. The travel stop provides customers a Subway restaurant, gourmet coffee, fresh fruit, merchandise, electronics, showers and more. Professional drivers can take advantage of seven showers and 77 truck parking spaces.
“Jonesboro is a growing community, so it is an ideal place to open our first location in Northeast Arkansas,” said Tom Love, founder and executive chairman of Love’s Travel Stops. “We look forward to offering the ‘Clean Places, Friendly Faces’ Love’s is known for to a new part of the state.”
Love’s will donate $2,000 to the Drug Awareness Resistance Program as a part of the ribbon cutting in conjunction with the Jonesboro Chamber of Commerce. The check will be presented to Cpl. Greg Lawson of the Jonesboro Police Department at the new Love’s on Thursday, July 16 at 10 a.m. Members of the community are invited and encouraged to attend the ribbon cutting.
For a limited time, professional drivers can earn up to five points with their “My Love Rewards” loyalty cards at all Love’s locations.
