The Hershey Co. to name Humberto Alfonso’s successor at end of June.
The Hershey Co.’s International President Humberto (Bert) Alfonso, 57, is retiring from the company, effective the end of June. The Hershey Co. is working with Alfonso to ensure a seamless transition and expects to announce its succession plan at the end of the month.
“Bert has led our International business for the last two years, laying the foundation for future growth in these important markets,” said John Bilbrey, chairman, president and CEO, The Hershey Co. “Prior to his international leadership, Bert led our financial organization, instilling strong discipline and accountability across the organization. We are grateful for his years of leadership and service and wish him and his family all of the best.”
