Tops several business lists in Central Penn Business Journal’s Book of Lists.
Rutter’s Holdings, the parent company of Rutter’s Farm Stores and Rutter’s Dairy, sits atop several business lists in the 2015 edition of the Central Penn Business Journal’s annual Book of Lists, distributed this week.
Rutter’s earned a No. 3 rank on the list of Top Private Companies in Central Pennsylvania, which is decided by total revenue. The York County, Pa.-based company has attained a top 10 rank on the Journal’s list of Top Private Companies every year since 2005.
Rutter’s ranked at No. 9 on the list of Fast Growing Companies, also determined by total revenue. Rutter’s has appeared on the list of 50 Fastest Growing Companies for eight straight years.
In addition, Rutter’s also appeared at No. 19 on the Journal’s list of 50 largest employers, which is determined by the number of local employees.
Rutter’s Chief Customer Officer, Derek Gaskins, cited the company’s consistent innovation as reason for the accolades. “Our goal is to invest in the communities in which we operate and empower our team members to better meet the needs of our customers,” said Gaskins, “we continuously grow because we excel at providing great customer service and creating experiences that exceed the expectations of our team members and customers.”
Rutter’s operates 60 convenience stores located in five counties throughout central Pennsylvania and a dairy which distributes milk, chocolate milk and iced tea drinks throughout the mid-Atlantic region.
