New sites are located in Texas, Iowa and Florida.
Pilot Flying J has announced the opening of three new travel centers in the month of December in Texas, Iowa and Florida.
“Pilot Flying J builds new travel centers at strategic locations across the country to better serve our customers,” Pilot Flying J CEO Jimmy Haslam said. “We hope drivers will enjoy the convenience and amenities of our new Pilot Travel Centers, where our team is working hard to make life better for professional drivers.”
The new locations are:
- Pilot Travel Center in Junction, Texas – Located at exit 456 off Interstate 10 at 2342 N. Main St., the travel center features Subway and Cinnabon; PJ Fresh fast, casual food offerings; eight diesel fuel lanes; seven showers; and 74 parking spaces for trucks
- Pilot Travel Center in Mount Pleasant, Iowa – Located near intersection of Highways 34 and 27 at 1300 N. Grand Ave, the travel center features Arby’s and Cinnabon; PJ Fresh fast, casual food offerings; seven diesel fuel lanes; five showers; and 72 parking spaces for trucks.
- Pilot Travel Center in Jasper, Florida – Located at 8067 State Road 6 West near State Route 100, the travel center features Subway and Cinnabon; PJ Fresh fast, casual food offerings; 10 diesel fuel lanes; nine showers; and 90 parking spaces for trucks.
Each of the new locations features gas and diesel fuel; DEF (diesel exhaust fluid) at the pump; food and beverage options, including Pilot Flying J’s premium coffee and tea selections; restrooms; showers; and other merchandise and services for professional drivers. Pilot Flying J continues to lead the industry with DEF at the pump at more than 4,500 diesel lanes.
“We hope professional drivers, or ‘road warriors’ as we call them, enjoy the amenities at these new travel centers,” Haslam said. “These are hardworking men and women who keep our economy moving, and we are proud to help make their lives better every day that they’re on the road.”
Together, these new stores have generated a total of more than 260 jobs in the local communities they serve and will contribute an estimated total of more than $11.3 million in state and local tax revenues. The three locations join the network of more than 650 travel centers and travel plazas operated by Pilot Flying J, which serves more than 1.3 million customers every day across the U.S. and Canada.
