PriceAdvantage, a fuel price management software company and division of Skyline Products, has partnered with Fuelzee, a popular mobile app that saves consumers, gas stations and convenience stores time and money.
The partnership will provide PriceAdvantage customers with free access to real-time, competitive fuel pricing information provided by Fuelzee’s user community as well as automatic updates to Fuelzee’s gas prices provided by PriceAdvantage customers.
This partnership marks the democratization of fuel pricing data within the petroleum industry by providing gas stations, analysts and consumers free access to otherwise expensive data. While other vendors continue to increase their fees for competitive data, Fuelzee is powered by crowdsourcing. The free information gives convenience store fuel analysts the ability to monitor and respond to market changes in real-time.
Utilizing PriceAdvantage, fuel pricing analysts can assess the free competitive data then calculate and review prices using a scientific, economic algorithm as well as create specific business rules to incorporate industry insights for traffic patterns, construction, peak times and other variables. Analysts can determine new fuel prices, push them to the street, and receive price change confirmation feedback all in a matter of minutes. Once the price change is complete, PriceAdvantage automatically pushes the new prices to Fuelzee ensuring the most accurate gas prices can be marketed to app users.
Convenience stores that subscribe to Fuelzee’s mobile advertising platform can utilize its cutting-edge mobile technology and mobile advertising tools to increase average transaction size and overall sales, all while cutting costs. In addition to determining fuel prices, c-stores can promote their brands with mobile coupons, in-store incentives and loyalty rewards in the Fuelzee app to enhance their customer’s experience.
