Challenges trucking industry to help support the cause.
Jimmy Haslam CEO of Pilot Flying J, led team members in the Ice Bucket Challenge, a national campaign to raise awareness and funds for the ALS Association.
The event took place at the Pilot store at 8541 Middlebrook Pike in Knoxville, Tenn., on Aug. 14.
Behind Haslam are, from left: Dave Parmly, Tim Purcell, Miranda Huston, Kristin Seabrook, Mitch Steenrod, David Britton, David Clothier, Anne LeZotte, Wendy Hamilton and Brad Jenkins.
Cari Baylor, vice president of Baylor Trucking, challenged the trucking industry last week to the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, and Pilot Flying J gladly accepted its turn to get soaked with ice cold water for a great cause. In turn, Pilot Flying J also challenged the entire trucking industry to help support ALS through the Ice Bucket Challenge.
