Benefits Gridiron Greats and The BTB Foundation.
7-Eleven Midwest Franchise Owners Association (MWFOA) is hosting its annual charity golf outing, which supports three very important not-for-profits: The Gridiron Greats Assistance Fund, The BTB Foundation, and the University of Michigan C.S. Mott Children’s
The golf outing, scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 4 at Taylor Meadows Golf Course in Taylor, Mich. Is being co-hosted by Chicago Bears Super Bowl XX Champ Dennis McKinnon, fondly known as “Silky D.”
“We’re thrilled to host our first charity golf outing in Michigan, to support our charities and partner with Gridiron Greats Assistance Fund and The BTB Foundation,” said Jim Bayci, owner of a 7-Eleven store in Chicago. “Our franchisees are extremely proud of our fund raising efforts and are looking forward to another successful and profitable event this year in Michigan.”
The MWFOA is excited to welcome the public to its charity golf outing and dinner. In years past, the golf outing was exclusively for franchisees, their managers and staff members, vendor suppliers and those from the 7-Eleven corporate offices. This year, the 7-Eleven MWFOA members decided to move up to Michigan and open it up to the public at large.
“We’re thrilled that our guests want to golf with us and are interested in supporting our charity event,” said Bruce Maples, MWFOA member and co-chair of this year’s charity golf outing. “We’re anticipating a very large turnout and are grateful that Dennis McKinnon is a part of the day-long festivities. As much as our outing is only one day, we work daily to give back to our worthy charities,” he added. “Not only will it be a lot of fun, but with Dennis as our co-host, we are sure to exceed all attendance records and our financial goals.”
Tickets for the MWFOA Charity Golf Outing are $350 per person and include 18 holes of golf, as well as breakfast, lunch and a dinner and cocktail reception. If you are not able to golf, but would like to attend dinner where you will have the chance to meet Dennis McKinnon, dinner tickets are only $150.
There will also be giveaways throughout the day, a silent auction, and raffle drawings for incredible prizes including tickets to sporting events, restaurant gift certificates, and much more! A variety of sponsorship opportunities are also available. Please call the MWFOA Golf Hotline at 847-999-5558 to learn more and/or to register visit, 7elevenmwfoagolf.eventbrite.com.
