Introduce CITGO Fueling Good Wednesdays.
Local CITGO Marketer Goetz Energy Corp., on behalf of its CITGO dealers and CITGO Petroleum Corp., have teamed up with the Buffalo Bisons to give back to baseball fans, CITGO customers and charitable organizations in the western New York community with “CITGO Fueling Good Wednesdays.”
At every remaining Wednesday home game in 2014 at Coca-Cola Field, the Bisons and Goetz Energy will recognize a “CITGO Fueling Good Group of the Game.”
Eligible non-profit 501(c)(3) organizations in the Buffalo community should email [email protected] for a chance to win 100 free Bisons’ game tickets and to select a representative from the organization to throw out the ceremonial first pitch.
“The Buffalo Bisons do a lot of great work for and with organizations in western New York and southern Ontario. Our partnership with CITGO complements our dealer’s mission to have a positive impact in our community, and ‘CITGO Fueling Good Wednesdays’ will do just that,” said Steve Jackson, manager of gasoline marketing with Goetz Energy Corp.
In addition to the “CITGO Fueling Good Group of the Game,” the Bisons will offer $3 off full-price tickets at the box office in exchange for showing a CITGO credit card or a receipt from any independent CITGO dealer. “With discount ticket prices at Wednesday Buffalo Bisons games, this is also a wonderful chance for us to give back to our loyal customers and thank them for fueling up at Goetz Energy’s network of CITGO stations in Buffalo,” added Jackson.
The following Bisons home games currently encompass the “CITGO Fueling Good Wednesdays” promotion: June 4 and 25, July 2, 23 and 30, Aug. 13 and 20.
“We are happy to work with great corporate partners like Goetz Energy and CITGO to bring many worthy members of our community out to a ballgame at Coca-Cola Field,” said Bisons Director of Corporate Sales Jim Harrington.
The Buffalo Bisons emphasize playing an active role in fostering the well-being of the western New York and southern Ontario community. With a foundation formed by the compassion, innovation and strong family values of late chairman, Mr. Robert Rich, and continued with the leadership of owners Bob and Mindy Rich of Rich Products Corporation, the Buffalo Bisons are committed to having a positive impact both at Coca-Cola Field and away from the ballpark.
