One of America’s original craft ciders is once again “going pink” to support an important community organization. Last year, the Vermont Hard Cider Co., makers of Woodchuck Hard Cider, unveiled the newest addition to its Private Reserve Line, Woodchuck Pink. This cider was created to honor and support the work of Survivorship NOW, a Vermont-based nonprofit organization dedicated to offering wellness programs to cancer survivors. Along with a pink label that incorporates the Survivorship NOW logo, Woodchuck Pink Cider is naturally colored with grape skins to give it a pink hue. This year, Woodchuck will donate $30,000 to the cause to further support their wellness network, which offers a range of free programs, such as nutrition, yoga, and art classes, to help cancer survivors on their path to recovery. In addition to supporting cancer survivors, Woodchuck Private Reserve Pink is a delicious, refreshing cider with a semi-dry, delicate apple taste and natural pink color developed from using purple grape skin. Private Reserve Pink is available nationwide in six packs and on draught.
