Hunt Brothers Pizza is introducing a brand new limited time offer pizza just in time to kick off the biggest night in football.
The specialty pizza, Italian Meats, includes Hunt Brothers Pizza’s original rising fresh crust, topped with a signature sauce and layered with slices of Italian-style ham, salami, big pepperoni and 100% mozzarella cheese. This is also the first time that the company has combined these three toppings in a single limited time offer.
“This is the first brand new pizza we have introduced since our Hawaiian pizza this past June. The Italian Meats pizza is a hearty complement to the cooler weather months,” said Keith Solsvig, vice president of marketing for Hunt Brothers Pizza. “As with all of our limited time pizza offerings, we created a product that not only drives sales for our c-store partners, but is packed full with flavor that our customers will enjoy.”
“We tested this product before rolling it out into stores, and it showed much success,” said Eddie Langston, new product development manger for Hunt Brothers Pizza. “All of our test stores really loved the bigger meats on the pizza and commented on the more Italian feel and flavor profile. One went so far as to say, ‘Now that’s Italian.’”
In support of the campaign, Hunt Brothers Pizza is also bringing back the infamous Hunter brothers to its social profiles. The duo was first introduced during the Buffalo Chicken pizza campaign last March as two hunters searching for an unknown species, the Buffalo Chicken. Consumers were encouraged to participate in bringing Buffalo Chicken pizza back by sharing the animated videos within their social networks, resulting in more than 1,000 shares.
With more than 7,000 locations in 28 states, Hunt Brothers Pizza is the nation’s largest brand of made-to-order pizza in the convenience store industry.
