“The Eagle Fuels acquisition will allow Empire to expand its operational footprint into two new states,” says Empire CEO.
Empire Petroleum Partners LLC has acquired the fuel distribution rights of Eagle Fuels LLC, a Tulsa, Okla.-based distributor that supplies branded and unbranded fuel to gas stations throughout Oklahoma and Kansas, as of Oct. 9, 2012.
The addition of Eagle Fuels significantly expands Empire’s Southwest regional footprint into Oklahoma and Kansas, while adding the ConocoPhillips brand to its supplier network.
With significant equity capital from Empire’s partners (including American Infrastructure MLP Funds), Empire continues to accelerate its growth plans. The company most recently acquired the assets of American Energy Distribution LP in April 2012 and plans to announce several additional acquisitions over the coming months.
“The Eagle Fuels acquisition will allow Empire to expand its operational footprint into two new states,” said Empire President and CEO Eli Kimel. “Empire has additional growth opportunities in the Southwest region that will assist the company in growing its presence in such markets. In order to achieve such growth, we are pleased to announce the addition of Mr. Marty Rivers, a successful industry veteran and founder of Eagle Fuels, to our Empire team as a territory manager in Oklahoma.”
“Empire is excited to start a branding relationship with ConocoPhillips and looks forward to doing more business with ConocoPhillips in the near future,” said Empire Chief Operating Officer Mike Diebus.
“Although I have built a strong business over the years, I believe that Empire has the capability to offer my customers enhanced customer service and tools to ensure that their businesses are successful for many years to come” said Marty Rivers. “I am excited to join a company that has very good growth objectives, with solid foundations in both customer service and a dealer-focused business model.”
Empire Petroleum is a leading motor fuels distributor of top brands, including Shell, Chevron, Valero, Sunoco, BP, Exxon, Citgo, Mobil, Marathon, Texaco, Gulf and, now,
