Parker’s donates one cent of every gallon of gas purchased at all of its convenience stores on the first Wednesday of the month to community schools through the Fueling the Community program.
Parker’s recently presented a check for $2,000 to Bryan County Public Schools as part of the company’s Fueling the Community program. This donation is part of a larger $20,000 charitable contribution to area schools in Georgia and South Carolina.
“At Parker’s, we’re committed to giving back to each of the communities where we have retail stores,” said Greg Parker, president and CEO of Parker’s. “This donation reflects our appreciation for the hard-working teachers and administrators in Bryan County.”

The company’s charitable initiative officially launched in the fall of 2011 and has donated money to public and private schools in every community where Parker’s does business.
“I believe education serves as a key factor in future success,” said Parker. “Education helps reduce poverty, decrease crime and increase opportunity. This donation is an important way to make an investment in the future.”
